Combines disjoint curves into a single hierarchy.

Inputs

The Input Surface supplies line segments interpreted as branch segments in a plant.

The Output Surface will be a rework of the Input Surface, trying to infer connections based on proximity and relative direction of the points and segments. Cycles will be avoided and segments pointing in opposing directions are unlikely to attach. The direction of segments is determined by the vertex order of the curve primitive it is on.

Excess points are orphaned and can be removed by other nodes.

Parameters

The Max Distance specifies a threshold for point that may be merged.

If Preserve Roots is on, no points in the Root Group will ever be merged.
