Implemented in fe::ext::SplatterSystem, fe::ext::OrbiterSystem, fe::ext::BoxViewerSystem, fe::ext::ViewerSystem, fe::ext::MultiSweepSystem, fe::ext::DrivelineISystem, fe::ext::FrequencyResponseSystem, fe::ext::TireISystem, and fe::ext::Stepper.

This is a convenience function, wrapping "note" connecting.
